Absolutely stunning work! I love both their faces, so realistic. I'm faving this. :+favlove:
The patterns on both their clothing doesn't look out of place at all, repetitive patterns on drawings of clothes usually do, but you've pulled it off so well, that they meld into the artwork perfectly.
Looks to me that you've perfected openCanvas - something that only the best artists can do. :D

thanks for the fav! I am still learning how to use the various modes in OpenCanvas, but I am no master yet.. but I guess I just wanted to prove to detractors of OC that the program is very capable in its own right to aid the artist in visualising the mind's eye :)

This is simple breathtaking. The realism of the faces and the etherealness (is that even a word?) of the clothes and BG really vibe together. Excellent stuff!

Thanks for the Fav moobs!
Glad u like.. hang in there! 2 years ago I used to be in the same shoes as you and I totally understand what you are going through right now.. how did I recover? I guess I just stopped thinking about it (as an artist, this means literally removing ANY visual references to the hurt..) and started focusing on other things in life..
I drew the girl to see if it would evoke an emotional response from myself after 2 years (she looks like her) .. :p but i guess the hurt still remains (for me to remember that it happened 2 years ago lol) But do go out and make new friends, new people that dun tie you back to the past.. my 2 cents

It is good to hear from someone that understands. You couldn't bee closer to the truth...'as an artist, this means literally removing ANY visual references to the hurt.'

yeah.. its a physical act of 'letting go' .. I actually put everything in a box and buried it somewhere.. can't remember where it is now, so it hurts less.. and met new friends to occupy my free thoughts, always taking one step forward in a new direction :)
I know how it is, but I tell you that it will pass if you let it.. I was stubborn to listen and kept at it for close to another year hoping that things would get to back to the way it was, but in the end it still takes 2 to tango..
Just make yourself happy for a while, then see if you can find someone new to give happiness to :)
cheers!
